Show HN: Arsaze - Cursor for video editing (Tab-complete and agent edits)

A closer look at Show HN: Arsaze - Cursor for video editing (Tab-complete and agent edits)

What Arsaze actually is

Arsaze bills itself as a “Cursor for video editing”: an AI-native, multi-track non-linear editor where the timeline and transcript are structured so an agent can read and edit the same tools you click. It combines a manual NLE (tracks, trim modes, color wheels, keyframes) with AI-driven features that play edits live and version every change so you can review or undo them. Demos on arsaze.com show the real editor and review pages running on sample footage; exports and adding your own footage require an account.

How you edit and what the editor does for you

Edit by hand or ask an AI agent to operate the timeline while you watch. Tab works like autocomplete for video: after you make an edit, Arsaze previews the next similar edit on the timeline and you press Tab to accept it, Shift+Tab to take parts, or Esc to decline; nothing changes until you accept. Rewrite turns footage into a transcript you can edit like a document (deleting words cuts the video and shows tracked changes). Captions, color tools, audio tools, background removal, motion tracking, Animate Studio, a node editor for generation and an After Effects panel (beta) all work on the timeline and can be invoked by the AI. Exports include MP4 with no watermark or FCPXML for Resolve and Premiere Pro.

Who will find Arsaze useful

Built for video editors, creators and the teams they cut for, especially those who want a mix of hands-on timeline control and AI-assisted speedups. Clients can review via shareable links, draw on frames and leave time-stamped notes that the AI can act on. The site notes it was built in India and that people in 64 countries have made accounts; early accounts are mostly in India.
