NexURLs works because every press of Next leads somewhere worth going. These rules keep it that way. They apply to links you share and to everything you write here.
Share things worth a visit
- Interesting, useful, beautiful, funny or strange pages that other people would be glad to find.
- Your own site is welcome, as long as it is genuinely worth visiting and you are not flooding the rotation with it.
- Write honest titles and descriptions. No clickbait that misrepresents the page.
Not allowed
- Malware, phishing, scams, fake giveaways, or pages that try to trick people into downloads or payments.
- Sexual or pornographic content, or graphic violence and gore.
- Anything that exploits or endangers children.
- Hate, harassment, threats, or content that targets people for who they are.
- Illegal goods or services, pirated content, or instructions to cause harm.
- Spam: link farms, doorway pages, affiliate-only pages with nothing else, URL shorteners and redirect chains, or pages stuffed with ads.
- Fake engagement: extra accounts, bots, scripts, or trading likes, saves or comments to earn credits or climb rankings.
How we enforce it
- Anyone signed in can report a URL from the ··· menu on its card. When several different people report it, it is taken out of the rotation until it is reviewed.
- Submitted links are checked against lists of known unsafe sites, and the whole catalogue is rechecked every day.
- When a URL you shared is removed, your account gets a strike. With repeated strikes, your new submissions wait for review before going live, and serious or repeated abuse ends in a ban.
- Credits earned through rule breaking are removed.
