Reshot

A closer look at Reshot

What Reshot was and why it’s closing

Reshot was a community-driven library of free SVGs, PNGs, and vector assets created by designers for designers, with simple licensing and instant downloads. The site is being retired in January 2026 as Envato focuses its efforts on a unified creative platform and consolidated tools. Anything you downloaded from Reshot before the shutdown remains covered by Reshot’s original free commercial license.

What you can do now instead of Reshot

Envato recommends two paths for former Reshot users: subscribe to Envato to get access to a much larger, unified library of assets (icons, vector illustrations, templates, mockups, fonts, photos, videos, music and more) with a single commercial license; or use Envato GraphicsGen to generate icons, patterns, and illustrations from text prompts and style references for quick concepting and ideation.

Who will find the changes useful

Designers and creatives who relied on Reshot for free icons and illustrations and want broader asset types or integrated tools will benefit from Envato’s consolidated offering. People who need faster concepting or to expand brand assets may find GraphicsGen useful for generating icons and illustrations instantly. The move is positioned to provide clearer licensing and more curated, supported assets from the same designer community.
