NexTrends
The products, apps, games, foods and ideas people are starting to get into. We spot them early from what the web is talking about, then check them against Wikipedia and Google search data.

Our track record
Every trend is saved with its numbers on the day we call it. After two weeks it shows up here with how much attention it gained or lost since, so you can judge our calls for yourself.
How NexTrends works
We listen. All day we read the news, Reddit, Hacker News, brand new GitHub projects, popular posts on X, the links people add to NexURLs and what people search for here, and pull out the specific things people are talking about.
We check. Anything picking up speed is checked against daily Wikipedia views, how much X is talking about it and 12 months of Google search volume.
We score. Speed counts most: how fast mentions are growing against the weeks before. A trend also needs at least two separate places talking about it. Early signal means the talk is climbing but searches have not caught up yet, which is the window before everyone knows about it.
We keep score. Every trend is saved with its numbers on the day we first called it, and the track record above shows how those calls turned out, good or bad.
