What Breathless Crown is

Breathless Crown is a deckbuilding roguelike set on the ark Sovereign, a ship that has circled a dying sun for nine hundred years and where a crown of black iron controls the crew-kingdom.

Every turn the sun moves through Sunlit, Dusk, Shadow, Dawn, which affects how much Energy you get and which face of each card plays.

What you do while playing

You pick one of the heroes and run through rooms, fights and events while managing O2 as a resource: every room and every turn costs O2 and when your tank is empty you pay in HP.

After battles you can salvage wrecks, bolt parts onto your cards (matching parts Sync and rank up with use), collect relics and hundreds of cards, and progress toward the throne while avoiding the King’s Attention and his hunters.

Who will enjoy it and how it’s changing

Players who like roguelike deckbuilders, salvage mechanics and resource management will find it appealing; the page notes you will die often and learn from runs.
